Where the Caribbean Meets Contemporary Luxury
With iconic status as Antigua’s most luxurious home away from home, Hodges Bay is an escape. For a weekend, a season, or a longer stay, Hodges Bay is built for traveling well. Our family welcomes you to the Caribbean with humble arms and lavish living.
Built with respect for the islands of the West Indies top of mind, Hodges Bay Resort & Spa sits within 8 acres of lush tropical gardens and one of the world’s most pristine coral sand beaches.
Your time with us will be well spent feeding the soul. With a variety of restaurant options for all palates and moods, enjoy anything from relaxed fare to fine dining from our Antiguan Executive Chef, Brian Abbott. Mornings offer organic wakeups from our fresh island juice and coffee bar. Evenings bring serene and private oceanfront patio relaxation or late nights at the Drift Bar, overlooked by the Boonji Spaceman at the end of the pier. Soak in the daytime healing of the island with your choice of high-octane watersports, boat rides to Prickly Pear Island, unwinding at Spa La Bohème, or time at the adults-only or family pool with cabana and beachside service.
The Boonji Spaceman sculpture by artist Brendan Murphy, which debuted at the resort, is part of a collaboration between Murphy and Christopher Harding, one of the resort’s owners, to showcase several of Murphy’s imaginative pieces throughout Hodges Bay.
There’s Candy Hearts, a thirty-piece, three-story hanging sculpture as well as an astonishingly lifelike shark sculpture called The Fast Eat Slow looming over one of the lounges.
The resort, which opened in 2018, has been visited by celebrities like Ashanti, Ashley Graham, Lisa Rinna and Flo Rida.
Two outdoor pools and an adults-only hot tub, each with uninterrupted views of the Caribbean, open daily from 7 AM to 7 PM.
Beside the main lobby and Garden Suites, the family pool is made for long sunny days together, with food and drinks served poolside.
Our beachside infinity pool is reserved for adults: breezy loungers, the sound of the waves and the Caribbean Sea just steps away.
Set beside the Drift Bar, a few meters above the ocean, the hot tub offers a quiet soak with sweeping sea views.
Even though Hodges Bay is contemporary and filled with modern luxuries, we do not forget that we are on a small island in the middle of the ocean. Everything we have on this island is precious and we must conserve everything. Every drop of water is either rain water or desalinated from the ocean. We work hard to be environmentally neutral.
